Retail’s Night Out

By:

Retail’s Night Out on Friday, Oct. 11, brought life back to downtown shopping. The shops at the 5th Street Arcades were busy after business hours, thanks to The Cleveland Retail Commission who organized the event.

All the storefronts stayed open from 5 to 8 p.m. for the industry mixer. The shops at 5th Street Arcades offer a unique array of merchandise such as Cleveland souvenirs at Curious Cleveland, wearable art at Fra Angelica Gallery & Studio, and paper flowers at Love, Anji

Additional retail stands set up shop for some extra shopping. Two such jewelry designers, Anazette Hudson and Marjorie Gold Falk, don’t have storefronts yet but sell their one-of-a-kind pieces online, at www.etsy.com/shop/ByAnazette and www.mgfalkglassjewelry.com, respectively.

The night concluded with a fashion show by designer Dartanya Butcher, which featured one of fall’s biggest trends: black and white!
