Staying warm, stylishly

Technically, spring might be right around the corner, but we Clevelanders know that the cold, wind and snow can last well into March, even April! Here are a few tips from local bloggers for looking stylish while staying warm:

I love a cool sweater with embellishments. Leather is a huge trend, I like leather mixed with knits. Leather leggings with a sweater is a great look this season. Mixed and matched textiles are a big trend for winter as well as pattern mixing. I love experimenting with color and patterns!

Coats and capes! They are fun ways to mix it up! Also faux leather embellishments. I hate winter, but I do love winter fashion!

Anything metallic or sparkly with a red lip and classic black heals ... [for a party] I like over the top glamorous, maybe black sequins or sparkles and of course a red lip!

Faux leather leggings. I’m still looking for the perfect pair to add my wardrobe, but they are edgy and cool, a departure from what I would normally wear. They are so versatile and can be styled dressy or casual. I of course always love great coats in the winter as well.

I love riding boots and chunky sweaters! Or colored leather skirts…I can’t get enough of this winter’s trends.

I’m really enjoying fair isle prints right now! Living in Ohio with so much snow, I feel like they perfectly blend in with the scenery and the feel of the season.
