Trends that should end

By:

Throughout the years, some trends have been brought back into your daily wardrobe (i.e. leggings, chunky jewelry, mod print, etc). When you flip through any fashion magazine, there lie the ‘Do's’ and ‘Don’t's' of trends. Below are just some of the ‘don’t's.’ Not even the A- or D-listers of Hollywood can pull these off.

Yes, you may find these outrageous trends handy for a Halloween costume or give to children to play dress up, but other than that, please remember to bury these trends in the back of your closet!

  • Rambo headbands
  • Jean skirt with UGGs (and no tights or leggings)
  • High-waist jeans
  • Sheer panty hose (but were they ever really a trend?)
  • Leg warmers and flip-flops
  • Jelly bracelets
  • Overly ripped jeans, torn in inappropriate places
  • Lingerie-styled tops
  • Doubled-up polos with popped collars
  • T-shirts with inappropriate word graphics
  • Belts with tacky designs (e.g. stars or clear)
  • Obvious fake designer knock-off bags (Chanel with the huge C’s, Coach, Gucci and Louis Vuitton)
  • Matching your top with your makeup
  • Crocs
  • Bra straps hanging out of tank tops, t-shirts or any other style of top
  • Thongs showing from low-rise jeans
  • White shoes (unless you are a bride, of course)
  • Chunky flip-flops and shoes
  • Boyfriend jeans that are actually your boyfriend’s jeans (buy a pair that does not fit in a sloppy manner)
  • White-eye liner, heavily plucked eyebrows, and crusty, curled hair

The next time you're getting ready to go out, please keep in mind some of these examples of trends that should be closed in the closet for good
